Job Description:
- Create component detail drawings and bills of materials for centrifugal compressors that include components such as bearings, seals, stationary, and rotating components, as applicable to the specific product line
- Detail drawings/models utilizing correct and economical methods of manufacturing machined and fabricated parts. Ensure Form, Fit, and Function logic is followed. Ensure mating parts are considered before releasing to production
- Utilize the correct method of dimensioning in compliance with drafting standard
- Self-check for accuracy of all drawings, layouts, and bills of material
- Check vendor drawings as required
- Assist factory inspector and Product Design Engineer in disposition of non-conformances of parts
- Participate in Process Improvement
- Understand and incorporate basic specs, standards, and design criteria provided
