UCO Bank Recruitment 2024 – Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate degree from recognized universities/institutes approved by Govt. of India or its regulatory bodies.
- The qualification result must have been declared on or before 01.07.2024, and the candidate must produce Mark Sheets and a Provisional/ Degree Certificate issued from the University/ Institute/ College as and when required by the Bank.
Test of local language:
-
- The candidates applying for training seats of a particular state, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in any one of the local languages of that State.
- The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process.
- It will be conducted during document verification Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged for apprentice.
- Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/ certificate evidencing having studied the local language will not be required to undergo the language test.
UCO Age Limit:
- Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years
- A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2004 (both dates inclusive)
- Age relaxation for the upper age limit is as per the government rules.
Age Relaxation:
- OBC Candidates: 3 years.
- SC/ST Candidates: 5 years.
- PWD Candidates: 10 years.
- Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST): 8 years.
- Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years.
UCO Recruitment 2024 Selection Process:
- Selection will be done through Screening and Personal interview of the shortlisted candidates at Banks sole discretion.
- However, in the event that a high volume of applications, the Bank reserves the right to conduct a written test at its sole discretion. In such case, the selection process may be conducted solely through the written test.
- Candidates are required to score a minimum marks in interview/written test (For SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon).
- Minimum qualifying in interview/written test will be as decided by the Bank.
- Merit list will be drawn State wise and category wise.
- Candidates qualified in the test will be placed according to their interview/written marks in descending order in respective States and Categories.
